Hong Kong Legislative Council rejected funding application bid for 2023 Asian Games

 Xinhua Xinhua in Hong Kong January 14 Finance Committee of the Hong Kong SAR Legislative Council 14 rejected the Government's funding of 60 million funding bid to host the 2023 Asian Games application.

SAR Government Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing said that although the application was rejected, but the SAR Government will continue to unswervingly promote the development of sports, the gradual implementation of sports policy has been developed and objectives, and continue to allocate resources to support the development of elite athletes. He also said that the actual situation of Hong Kong will organize sports events, and actively promote the community has been planning the construction of venues and to promote in the community, popular sports.
